Olive went to the vet last weekend for her spay. Here she is, fresh back from hospital and still very sleepy. Not often that I can capture her image without it being a blur.
They took away my lady bits!

Adorable. Tell Olive she'll be fine. They took away my lady bits ten years ago!
Thanks, Liz. Seems we can get along just fine without those "bits".
Olive is doing great. It's like the surgery never happened. She just can't roughhouse with her neighborhood puppy friends until the sutures are removed.
@ Irenee... I adore that pug! However, I'm not so sure about the overall positive effect she has on my blood pressure. Her talent for mischief-making really keeps me on high alert.

Poor girl- at least she doesn't have to worry about some boy getting her 'in trouble'!
@ chupa... Amen to that! What a blight on the family name THAT would be!
I'm so glad that you and Olive are happy together!
She's good for your blood pressure, I expect!

What a glistening girl! Oh, my, she's loved!
Thanks, Gail Rae. Her amazing coat gets many comments when we're out on walkies. When it comes to love, she's got my heart locked up completely.
What a lovely picture!
Hope she's not missing those bits... they're much overrated in the doggie world and she's far better off without them :0)
@ Kit...
She's not missing those bits at all. Tomorrow she gets the stitches out and is back to playing with her neighborhood puppy friends.
